🚀 Alibaba's Open-Sourced AI Model to Compete with Meta's Llama 2
Google developed Brain2Music.
An AI that creates music based on a person's brain activity, matching genre, rhythm, mood, and instruments from recently heard music.
While previous research has focused on reconstructing other sounds from brain signals, such as speech, bird song, and horse whinnies, creating music from brain activity is a fascinating and innovative development in the field of AI and neuroscience.
Plus users can now upload multiple files for analysis with the Code Interpreter beta, and keyboard shortcuts have been introduced for improved efficiency.
Plus users will default to GPT-4, and their login will stay active for more extended periods.
Scientists at Northwell Health's Feinstein Institutes used brain microchips to enable arm movement and touch sensation for quadriplegic Keith Thomas.
The "double neural bypass" procedure resulted in increased arm strength within four months, offering hope for lasting natural recovery.
Alibaba's cloud computing unit released Qwen-7B and Qwen-7B-Chat, two large language models (LLM) with 7 billion parameters, in an effort to compete with Meta's Llama 2.
This marks the first time a major Chinese tech company has open-sourced its LLM.
