Google aims to provide users with their personalized AI assistant, trained on their data and notes.
Starting from Google Docs, users can now select multiple documents and utilize the app to ask questions or generate new content.
Key features include automatic summarization of lengthy documents and the conversion of video outlines into scripts.
The integration of citations is available, although Google acknowledges that the model may occasionally generate incorrect results.
NotebookLM is currently accessible through a waitlist on Google Labs.

Sidekick enhances productivity and streamlines workflows, allowing users to focus more on business growth rather than operational tasks.
Capable of understanding and interpreting questions or prompts, Sidekick enables users to generate new ideas in a matter of seconds.
Users can ask clarifying questions or instruct Sidekick to shorten, rewrite, or provide feedback.
Shopify's CEO, Lütke, firmly believes that AI technology holds immense benefits for entrepreneurs and business builders.
No official release date has been announced for Sidekick at this time.
