  • Like all beta features of ChatGPT, this must be activated in the user's profile settings.

  • Ameca, an advanced humanoid robot developed by Engineered Arts, has been upgraded with Stable Diffusion, a deep-learning model for generating images based on text prompts.

  • The robot, equipped with microphones, cameras, and facial recognition software, demonstrated its ability to sketch a cat and even sign the drawing.

  • Ameca also uses GPT-3 and human telepresence for interactions, and has motorized articulation in its arms, fingers, and neck.

  • Previously, the company showcased Ameca's ability to express human emotions and communicate in multiple languages.

  • Volkswagen has established a new subsidiary, Volkswagen ADMT, to spearhead its autonomous driving initiatives in the United States.

  • The company plans to extend testing to a minimum of four additional American cities over the next three years, with a goal to initiate commercial operations in Austin by 2026.

  • The autonomous vehicle program in Austin will initially focus on data collection through the equipped vehicles.

  • During testing, human safety operators will be present behind the wheel.

  • This initiative follows nine months after the closure of Volkswagen's previous autonomous vehicle technology partner, Argo.
